Linear Labellers

Q-Pack supplies Enos automatic linear labelling machines to producers across Australia and New Zealand. Built in Italy, the range runs from the entry-level T2 at 1000 bottles per hour to the C5000 at 5000, with one to four labelling stations for front, back, neck and wrap-around self-adhesive labels. Enos linear labellers handle round and shaped bottles, cans and jars for wine, spirits, beer, food, cosmetics and chemical products. Engineered in Europe, installed and commissioned locally by the Q-Pack team.

How to choose a linear labeller

  1. Count your labels. Front only, front and back, or front, back and neck. Each label position needs a station.
  2. Check your container. Round bottles are the simplest. Square, flat or tapered bottles need a model rated for shaped containers, such as the Quadra, Speedy or C4000.
  3. Size the speed to your filler. The labeller should run at or slightly above your filler's output, so it never holds the line up.
  4. Decide on extras. Capsule application, date and batch printing, and label detection sensors can be added to most models.
  5. Linear or rotary? A linear labeller moves containers in a straight line past fixed label heads. These units are usually compact and simple to change over. On the other hand, a rotary labeller holds each container on a rotating plate so it can be turned and positioned precisely. They are usually faster but cost more and take more floor space.
