The Matrix TECNA ISO-C is an isobaric (counter-pressure) canning line for carbonated and still drinks. With many configurations available, one line can run beer, seltzers, RTDs and still wine, with low dissolved oxygen pickup. The unit doesn't fill through a can-lifting system, the filling valve lowers onto the can to seal. The can is flushed with gas and pressurised, then product flows gently down the can wall with no foaming. A magnetic flowmeter doses the exact recipe volume and closes the valve. After settling, the headspace is decompressed in stages and the can moves to the seamer. The PLC stores a recipe for each product and can size, covering fill volume, carbonation and decompression. Changing between 200, 202 and 206 lids needs no valve parts. Matrix is an Italian beverage plant engineer with more than 30 years of experience, and is officially distributed by Q-Pack in Australia and New Zealand. It is best for breweries, RTD and seltzer brands, and multi-product beverage producers who need to run at over 3000 cans per hour.
The counter-pressure valve in the ISO-C FM can handle both carbonated and still products, and recipes store the settings for each.
By a magnetic flowmeter on each valve, so the dose is set in the recipe rather than by fill height.
200, 202 and 206 lids with no valve changes, as well as a number of standard can sizes. Confirm can heights and diameters for your formats with us.
